Brazil, India enter emissions arena

Brazil and India have both announced plans to launch carbon emissions markets by the end of the year. Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) has signed a licensing agreement with Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX) while Brazilian Mercantile and Futures Exchange (BM&F) has developed its market in conjunction with the country's National Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade.
