Cargill's board of directors has elected William Veazey as senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer. Veazey succeeds Robert Lumpkins, who has served as chief financial officer since 1989. Lumpkins continues as Cargill vice chairman and a member of the company's board of directors. Veazey has been with the company for 30 years and most recently served as corporate vice president of finance, in which he led Cargill's controller, treasury, pension trust, insurance and various risk management activities.
