Home and awayInteresting to note the recently announced agreement between CBoT and SFE over the licensing of two of the Chicago exchange's contracts for listing at the Sydney exchange. For CBoT's London-based MD Cathy Lyall there must be a touch of the coming home in such an arrangement. Not only is the charming Lyall a native of Australia but she also spent some time on the floor of SFE, when there was such a thing. In fact, Ms Lyall has a number of colourful anecdotes to relate about the time when the floor was host to just a handful of women. But thankfully for us all, she survived the experience and not only lived to tell the tales, but decided that this was the business for her. Good on 'yer mate. Now what was the score in the Ashes...
