CBoT gold taking baby steps


Chicago Board of Trade (CBoT) has made some gains in its full-sized gold and silver futures contract this month, with open interest in gold surpassing 10,000 contracts and both metals hitting a one day trading record on 16 November.

Open interest in CBoT 100 oz gold futures hit 10,054 contracts on 2 November and reached a single day record of 7,138 two weeks later, while silver traded a record 1,060 on the same day.
