Johann Zwettler has resigned as CEO of Austria's Bank für Arbeit und Wirtschaft und Österreichische Postsparkasse Atkiengesellschaft (Bawag), as of the end of this year, following an internal inquiry into the bank's involvement in the Refco scandal.
Zwettler said, in a statement, that his resignation "was in no way an admission of guilt". He continued, "Nevertheless, as chief executive officer I am assuming my overall leadership responsibility?....
