Plans wither for Japan weather

Tokyo Financial Exchange (TFX) has temporarily cancelled plans to list weather futures due to concerns that there would be insufficient liquidity.
The exchange had been researching average monthly temperature contracts covering Tokyo and Osaka since last year (see FO Week Vol 10 No 34) and had hoped to launch them in late 2005.
