Borsa Italiana claims Euronext partnership talks in pipeline

Borsa Italiana revealed in a statement on 23 May that it "will start talks in the next few days with Euronext to study all the possible synergies which could come from an agreement between the two bourses".

However, the Italian exchange added that "no plan existed at the moment on how the two bourses could integrate their businesses".
