TSX boss hot on deals, denies gas sale


The ambitious chief executive of Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), Richard Nesbitt, has once again raised the issue of expansion by hinting at interest in a merger with, or acquisition of, a US futures exchange.

TSX has previously made overtures towards Montréal Exchange (MX), which has the rights to Canada's derivatives market until a non-compete agreement expires in 2009, but MX has rebuffed...
