CME attacks pan-European clearer


Speaking at London's derivatives week last week, Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME)'s CEO Craig Donohue said that a single monopoly CCP across Europe was a "ruinously poor idea".

He said it was "hard to imagine how? [it would] create competition and promote innovation to grow the market and bring benefits to users".
