It's all well and good having all these modern MBAs and a CV longer than your arm but if I were hiring an executive I'd be looking for a bit of colour. You know the kind of thing: a chief financial officer who knows how to play a decent game of cards (which means they know how to avoid the tax man and how to convince people they're winning when they've actually just staked their wife's car on a pair of threes).
