Minmetals denies $80m LME copper losses

China Minmetals has denied reports that it has lost millions in copper futures trading on London Metal Exchange (LME) since the second half of last year.

A statement on the company's website read, "Recent market talk about Minmetals Corp's copper futures trading suffering huge losses is not in line with fact."
