Brown-Hruska leaves CFTC to join NERA

Sharon Brown-Hruska last week resigned as commissioner of Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and joined research and analysis group NERA Economic Consulting as a vice president in the securities and finance practice. She left insisting her decision to move on was not a result of being overlooked for the position as chairman of the Commission.
