CME set to make millions on Nymex

Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) that it has been making between 35 and 50 cents on each of the New York Mercantile Exchange (Nymex) contracts traded on the Chicago exchange's Globex platform, it revealed last week. At the current rate of trading, this would net CME $7m-$12m per year but that figure would almost certainly rise as the contracts have only been live on Globex for a month and both exchanges expected volumes to increase.
