LME to be lead by Abbott

London Metal Exchange (LME) has achieved its objective of appointing a successor to its current CEO before the end of the year by naming Martin Abbott as heir to Simon Heale's position.
Abbott will assume the position on 2 October, meaning he will be in place before both the exchange's annual dinner and the date Heale on which had been expected to leave. However, his appointment has met with a mixed reception from exchange members and the board, after being widely believed...
