Following the lead of its fellow international exchanges, Eurex launched a telecommunications hub in Singapore last week, signing Transmarket Group as its first member.
The move trailed similar projects from the Swiss-German exchange's major competitors Chicago, Mercantile Exchange (CME), Chicago Board of Trade (CBoT) and Euronext Liffe, by a number of months. All three exchanges went live with Singapore hubs last year and had members signed up over six months ago.
