China's first index futures now due early next year


China's first financial futures exchange has suffered a setback after China Securities and Regulatory Commission (CSRC) said it wanted to give potential member firms more time to prepare their staff and systems, which has led to a likely launch date of early next year instead of the fourth quarter 2006, a source told FO Week.
