Electronic platform talks to resume between CBoT, Nybot

Chicago Board of Trade (CBoT) was understood, last week, to have re-opened talks with New York Board of Trade (Nybot) in an attempt to put the New York exchange's contracts on the screen. Previous negotiations  between the two exchanges collapsed in July (see FO Week Vol 11 No 26).

A source close to the New York exchange said that Nybot and CBoT had resumed discussions.
