Office bikeAlthough the days of supping bottle after bottle of vintage claret and burgundy remain only a fuzzy memory (even thought the most recent occasion on which I did so was two days ago) the one thing I remember most, other than the numerous attempts at passing on Serge Gainsbourg lines to numerous, terrified French ladies, is the sight and sound of hundreds of cyclists whizzing past at terrifying speed. Admittedly, renting an apartment on a section of the Tour de France course was a little daft in retrospect.
