The long barrierSpies of mine headed off to London's Oval last week as guests of those generous people at CBoT (I can only assume that my own invite was, quelle surprise, lost in the post again.) It seems, however, that I wouldn't have minded too much during the early exchanges as the assembled party quickly - perhaps too quickly - discovered that the top-end tickets provided by the Board of Trade contained all the vital elements for a day at the cricket - hampers, superb view, breakfast with some old players - but one: ready access to a bar of any description.
