ICE Futures' gasoil futures volume on 13 September reached 148,940 contracts traded, exceeding the previous day's record of 136,091 contracts by 9.4%.
Meanwhile, exchange-wide open interest on 13 September stood at a record 1.26m contracts, surpassing the previous day's all-time high of 1.22m contracts. Open interest in the exchange's Brent crude futures on the same day reached a new high of 347,861 contracts, exceeding the previous day's record of 342,888 contracts.

New York Mercantile Exchange (Nymex)'s total crude oil futures volume reached 428,125 contracts on 13 September, surpassing the 406,314 contracts traded on 30 August last year. On the same day, combined volume for energy futures on Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME)'s Globex electronic platform was 321,129, exceeding the 316,156 contracts traded on 12 September, whilst electronic crude oil futures volume totalled 136,646, topping the 120,949 contracts traded on 11 September, 2006....
