The long-running courtship over who will eventually marry who in the exchange merger engagements involving Euronext Liffe, Deutsche Borse and NYSE continued last week after the former's leader Hugh Feedberg spoke like a politician on a campaign trail in an attempt to discredit a Deutsche Börse tie-up and re-emphasise his backing for the tabled deal with NYSE.
