Doggie styleOver the course of my years in the industry, I have - unfairly, to my mind - become known as something of a cynic. Just because my manner is occasionally somewhat acerbic, some people find it difficult to believe that, beneath the layers of diseased organs, gnarled skin, somewhat pungent attire and a rather natty hat, beats a heart of gold. Perhaps they just assume that if I had anything made of gold I would have pawned it long ago to pay for gambling debts or booze. This, I hasten to add, could not be further from the truth. In point of fact, I am always prone to an emotional moment, sparing particular feeling for anything to do with quiet children odour-free animals and charitable works. My first missive this week demonstrates the latter, I believe, as I would like to spare some of my increasingly valueless...
