Thomas LaSala has been promoted to chief regulatory officer at New York Mercantile Exchange (Nymex). He has served as senior vice president of compliance and risk management at Nymex since February 2002, having joined the exchange in 1984. LaSala is also a director of Futures Industry Association's futures services division and serves on the joint compliance committee of all US futures exchanges.
