Since taking over as CEO of the LME in October the exchange has faced some interesting and difficult challenges. Have you found it an interesting time to have taken over from your predecessor?
It's been an excellent time to take over. My view is that whenever anyone takes over an organisation like the LME it's always going to be interesting as it is an interesting market in an interesting business. It will always be busy and there will always be challenges and certainly the last two months have been exciting, but I have no reason to believe that any other period in the exchange's history would be more or less exciting for one particular reason or another.
