TSE-CME alliance could prompt Japanese fixed income futures


Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) has confirmed that it has held talks with Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) with the potential of starting trading Japanese government bonds futures, a week after revealing that it was also in negotiations with New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).

 
TSE acknowledged that talks with CME had been ongoing, adding that the focus of any deal would be fixed income products.
