UBS, Bloomberg set up commodity index

UBS and Bloomberg have launched a commodity index consisting of 28 futures contracts.

The index titled Constant Maturity Commodity Index (CMCI) differs from rivals such as the Goldman Sachs Commodity Index (GSCI) and Dow Jones AIG because while these are located at the front end of the futures curve, the CMCI also targets the long end of the yield curve.
