DME delays launch yet again


Dubai Mercantile Exchange (DME) has delayed its official launch date to 1 June having previously intending to roll out a month earlier. The postponement follows numerous setbacks after delays selecting and developing a trading platform. (See FO Week Vol 12 No 8).

DME, a joint venture between Tatweer, a member of Dubai Holding, and New York Mercantile Exchange (Nymex), refused to explain its decision to FO Week.
