Chicago Board of Trade (CBoT) will launch mini-sized agriculture futures contracts on its E-Cbot electronic trading platform on 14 May. The contracts will include mini-sized corn, mini-sized soybeans and mini-sized wheat contracts.
CBoT also set a number of daily open interest records in their treasury notes on 16 April. Open interest in CBoT daily futures treasury complex set a new record of 6.15m contracts surpassing the previous record of 6.09m set 13 April. In addition, open interest in CBoT ten-year US treasury notes futures set a new record of 2.61m exceeding the previous record of 2.60m also set 13 April.
CBoT also recorded a new open interest record for futures and options in their two-year treasury notes. The new record of 1.051m contracts surpasses the previous record of 1.050m contracts set 13 April.
