Trading places


It is understood that Superderivatives has started procedures that will result in two senior management members to face the axe. A market source revealed to FO Week that Tim Murphy, head of global sales, and Anna Mazzone, vice-president for EMEA sales will leave following management restructuring. The firm, however declined to comment. Murphy, who recently moved to his current position (see FO Week Vol 12 No 12), having previously worked as vice-president for US sales, joined Superderivatives in 2005. He joined from Moneyline Telerate, where he served as vice president of sales. Mazzone, also joined in 2005 from Reuters, having served as senior vice president.

Andrew Burpitt has been promoted to product manager at EDX's Russian derivatives service. Burpitt will be responsible for Russian products and will report to Dean Noble, head of business development at EDX. He has been with EDX for two years.
