Nymex eyes carbon contracts

New York Mercantile Exchange (Nymex) is considering offering a carbon emissions contract.
A Nymex spokesperson said the exchange is looking at developing a carbon credit contract but that no details are set at the moment and no launch date has been established.
Nymex currently offers a sulfur dioxide futures and nitrous oxide futures on its ClearPort trading platform.
