CFTC’s Jeffery out, Lukken for top spot

Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC)’s Reuben Jeffery has resigned as chairman. He will replaced by Walt Lukken, who has assumed the position of acting chairman.Jeffery’s resignation has been expected for some time, (see FO Week 28/05/07) after accepting an offer by the White House to move over to US Department of State as under secretary of state for economic, energy and agricultural affairs.
