June was the Spanish exchange, Meffs second record-breaking month of the year, with Futures trading on the Ibex 35 totalling 815,812 contracts, surpassing the previous record set in March of 805,225 contracts. Meff has posted half year figures for Ibex 35 Futures of 4.4m contracts, up 38% on 2006. Commenting on the record, Fernando Centelles, CEO said, The Ibex 35 Future is the European futures contract based on domestic indexes with the fastest growth rate.
