Patrick Birley has started as CEO of European Climate Exchange. Birley joined the exchange replacing Peter Koster who will move to a non-executive role. Birley arrives after leaving his position at LCH Clearnet (LCH-C) where he was chief executive. He left the clearinghouse in April. Prior to LCH-C Birley worked at London Metal Exchange.
