ICE Futures reported monthly volume of 11.95m contracts on July, an increase of 47.5% compared to 8.10m contracts in July 2006. ADV rose 40.8% from 385,809 contracts in July 2006 to 543,232 contracts in July 2007. ADV for the month of July represented the second highest in ICE Futures history.
Liffe recorded its busiest July ever, trading a total of 72.5m futures and options contracts, up 41.1% from the same period last year and up 34.7% on a daily average basis. Over 524m contracts have been traded year-to-date, up 19.8% from the same period last year.
OneChicago traded 810,229 security futures in July. ADV in July was 38,582 contracts. Year-to-date volume stands at 5.90m a 58% increase from the same period in 2006.
