Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has appointed of Terry Arbit as general counsel. Arbit has been serving as CFTC’s acting general counsel and as deputy general counsel for regulation and administration. Prior to that, Arbit served as counsel to former CFTC chairman Reuben Jeffery. He has been practicing law in private practice and government service for more than 22 years, spending the last 11 years at the CFTC in a variety of legal capacities
