Grede made Sentinel bankruptcy trustee

Longtime industry executive Fred Grede has been appointed as the trustee in the Sentinel Management Group bankruptcy.
Grede, chairman of his own Chicago-based consulting firm called Vega Financial Engineering, is responsible for untangling co-mingled accounts and helping determine disbursements to customers.
Grede was chosen over two other candidates, Jack Wing, a long-time industry professional and Dennis Dutterer, former president and CEO of The Clearing Corportation. Grede could not be reached for comment, but several professionals in the industry believe he is a good fit for the job.
