TT patent case underway as court focusses on calendar

The Trading Technologies (TT) patent infringement case against E-speed eventually got underway with opening statements by both sides and a heavy focus on the timing of the patent applications being heard in the first two days.
The trial is expected to pick up steam in the second week of trial commencing 17 September when TT’s CEO, Harris Brumfield, is scheduled to take the witness stand.

Brumfield is expected to come under intense scrutiny by E-Speed attorneys over the key dates in which he invented the MD Trader system and when he filed for the patents.
