Philadelphia Stock Exchange’s open interest for dollar-settled World currency options on the Euro, British pound, Australian dollar, Canadian Dollar, Swiss franc and Japanese yen surpassed 250,000 contracts for the first time when 253,822 on 18 September.

The launch of Dry Whey options on the CME Globex platform, originally scheduled for 16 September, has been postponed one week, to 23 September.
CME Group will launch commercial real estate indices futures and options contracts on 28 October. The contracts will enable investors and speculators to protect or gain exposure to the $5.3tr US commercial real estate market. Ten quarterly cash-settled contracts based on property type and geography will be available. The listings include a national composite index; indexes on property types consisting of retail, office, apartments and warehouse properties; and five US regional indexes covering Desert Mountain West, Mid-Atlantic South, Northeast, Midwest and Pacific West.
