As the Trading Technologies (TT) patent infringement trial against E-Speed stretched into its third week in Chicago, the defendant went on the offensive by producing a plethora of prior art it claims invalidates TT MD Trader patents.
E-Speeds strongest evidence of prior art in over a weeks worth of presentations and testimony came from Jean-Cedric Jollant, the former trading application manager for GL, who testified he created a similar piece of software named TradePad in September 1998, therefore predating the critical MD Trader patent date of March 1999.
