MFG acquires Australian leading broker

MF Global (MFG) has acquired leading Australian futures and options broker BrokerOne as it expands its reach in the Asia Pacific region as well as growing its presence in the retail and proprietary sector. The recently listed company will also look to expand its product portfolio within the region.

Speaking to FO Week, MFG CEO, Kevin Davis, said further acquisitions were not being ruled out.
