US Treasury looks at reg overhaul

US Treasury Department is moving ahead with its examination of the regulatory system for North American financial markets, a move that could ultimately result in one regulatory agency in the US. The department said it was soliciting comments from the industry, which is a continuation of its June effort to begin overhauling the fragmented, and in some estimations antiquated, regulatory structure.
