Several senior executives at Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), including chief executive officer, Jeff Sprecher, have sold equity stakes in the Atlanta-based exchange.
In Securities and Exchange Commissions filling on 17 October, Sprecher sold 9,991 common shares in the bourse between $157.27 and $158.08.
Several other senior member of the exchanges management also traded equity stakes in the exchange. Frederick Schoenhut, director; Edwin Marcial, chief technology officer; David Goone, senior vice-president, business development and David Peniket, president and chief operating officer at ICE Futures all sold stakes in the exchange between 17 October and 19 October.
