Mexicans get set for MexDer launch

Banks and brokers in Mexico are finally gearing up for the long-awaited launch of their new derivatives exchange, called MexDer, which is now officially scheduled to commence trading on 21 November. A conference in Mexico City on 9 October, hosted by the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (Isda) together with the Inter-American Development Bank, gave an opportunity for clearing house chairman Hernan Sabau to outline preparations for MexDer.
