Singapore Exchange (SGX) has appointed Richard Teng, as senior vice president, head of issuer regulation and chief of staff for risk management and regulation. In his new role Teng will oversee the development of listing policies and the admission of listing applications. Teng will also be responsible for the ongoing compliance of listed companies and corporate finance intermediaries with SGX listing rules.
Teng joined SGX from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) where he was the director of corporate finance division, responsible for the formulation and administration of the Securities and Futures Act in relation to the offering of securities, business trusts, REITs and collective investment schemes.
