DGCX suffers glitches, say traders

Dubai Gold & Commodities Exchange (DGCX) experienced at least five market data and execution glitches during November, according to traders on the exchange.

Some traders experienced delays of up to 12 seconds in receiving data and executing orders. “The main problem has occured at around 5.00pm Dubai time when New York Mercantile Exchange [Nymex] starts trading and the number of bids and offers increases eight fold,” said one trader. ‘The DGCX platform just couldn’t cope with the volume increase.”...
