Nymex reveal first Green Exchange contracts, readies for March 17 launch


New York Mercantile Exchange (Nymex) has revealed details of the first contracts that it will launch as part of its Green Exchange initiative, as the exchange announced that the contracts will roll out on March 17.

The initial contracts to be launched will be European Union Allowance (EUA) futures and options; Certified Emission Reduction (CER) futures; seasonal nitrogen oxide emission allowance contracts; annual nitrogen oxide allowance futures; and sulphur dioxide emission allowance options contracts.
