European Energy Exchange and Eurex set a daily trading record in EUA futures on February 26. The duel ran operation traded 600,000 EUAs beating its previous record of 485,000 on February 21. In February alone around 5m EUAs have already traded compared to January’s record month of 4.14m.
Dalian Commodity Exchange set a new daily turnover record of 180.2bn yuan ($25,3bn) on February 26, beating the previous record of179.7 billion yuan set on January 18 this year. The trading volume on February 26 reached 3.27 million contracts.
Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange saw record overall volume of 2.9m contracts on February 25. The exchange’s previous record stood at 2.7m set on February 21.
