The company, which currently operates Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX), European Climate Exchange (ECX) and is partnered with Montreal Exchange on the Montreal Climate Exchange, is now planning the India Climate Exchange.

Richard Sandor, chairman and CEO of Chicago Climate Exchange, told an audience at the FIA Boca Conference in Boca Raton, Florida, that it has started work on a joint venture in India and it could have the exchange off the ground within a year.
