MF Global’s shares tumble on day of turmoil

A series of class action lawsuits filed against MF Global has caused a 70% plummet in the company’s share price with a spate of other derivatives brokers and exchange’s also feeling the fallout.

MF Global’s share price collapsed to under $3.70 at points in the day having opened the day at $16.11. At 4:15 GMT MF Global’s share price $5:30.
