Lee Jung-Hwan has been elected new chairman and CEO of the Korea Exchange (KRX) for a second term. The former president of the exchange’s management strategy division was selected at the shareholders meeting held March 20. After he was named as the Asian exchange’s head, Jung-Hwan said that the development of the “next generation trading system” alongside the development of the derivatives market were his top priorities. Additionally, Lee Chang-Ho, the former chief of National Statistical Office, was appointed president of the management strategy division.
